The Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine

For expectant mothers, the prospect of having a baby brings excitement and anticipation. While most pregnancies proceed smoothly, occasionally an obstetrician finds concerns either for the health of the mother or the development of the baby. A referral to the Center provides the physician a wide spectrum of highly specialized diagnostic and therapeutic proceedures to monitor the pregnancy from conception through delivery.

EPIC

Joining forces to provide expanded professional education opportunities, the Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine and the Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart have formed the EPIC (Education for Perinatal, Infants and Children) programs. Courses are offered at Sacred Heart, via Northwest TeleHealth, or may be arranged at your facility.

OB/GYN Hospitalist Program

Following Sacred Heart’s principles and values, the OB/GYN Hospitalists provide 24-hour obstetrical care to all patients who require services based on the primary care physician’s request, or when the patient has no primary care provider in the area.
