Primary Stroke Program

Over 700,000 Americans will experience a stroke this year. Of those, approximately 160,000 will die. That’s one out of every 15, placing stroke among the top three causes of death in the United States.

Of the more than 4 million stroke survivors living with the consequences of stroke, two-thirds of them struggle with moderate to severe disabilities. However, many strokes are preventable and treatable with prompt medical attention.
